Julie Patard studeerde af aan de Design Academy met het videozelfportret ‘Techno Venus’. Ze illustreert hierin haar digitale zoektocht naar perfectie door haar meest gelikete Instagram selfies te gebruiken als make-up voor een 3D-scan van haar eigen gezicht. Als ze vrouw wil zijn, zal zij zich moeten voegen naar het beknellende keurslijf van social media beeldtaal dat vrouwen zich collectief opleggen.
